Due to the agrarian environment, Washington's Yakima Valley has a community of low income farm workers in need of health services. In five different locations, new and existing buildings were constructed into multi-purpose clinics. They included, but weren't limited to primary health care, dental care, laboratories and health education facilities. Yakima Clinic: 1991 New Clinic: 10,000 sq ft of Dental for $650,000 and 12,800 sq ft of Medical for $1,490,000. Toppenish Clinic: 1982 Addition: Medical exam rooms. 3,800 sq ft, $120,000 1984 Addition: Medical wing and laboratory. $300,000 1988 Addition: Medical wing and administrative offices. $450,000 Kititas Clinic: 1989 Addition & Remodel: $80,000 Grandview Clinic: 1990 Addition & Remodel: Medical and exam wing. $380,000 1991 Addition & Remodel: Dental exam rooms and services. $410,000 Pasco Clinic: 1987 Addition & Remodel: Dental & General services. $150,000 |

In 1979-81, the renovation of Jackson Hall Medical commenced. The six story building facilitated medical specialty suites that included: general services, practitioners, psychiatric, pediatrics, hospital training center auditorium, oncology, hematology, radiation therapy and a linear accelerator facility. At that time, the renovation cost $5,200,000. |
